New rail schedules will take effect Sunday, January 7 on all NJ TRANSIT rail lines except the Atlantic City Line.
Several schedule adjustments have already been announced in connection with Amtrak track rehabilitation work at Penn Station New York (PSNY), which impact service beginning January 8 and continue through Memorial Day, Monday, May 28.
Click HERE for the Amtrak track work schedule impact. Note that there are minor adjustments to other Northeast Corridor (NEC) and North Jersey Coast Line (NJCL) trains in addition to those listed.

The NEC and NJCL changes required by the PSNY work will also result in schedule adjustments on the Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex, Montclair-Boonton, Main-Bergen County/Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines.
- Affect weekday trains only.
- Include changes in departure times, primary during peak periods, as well as in the reverse-peak timeframe (traveling from New York/Hoboken in the morning, to Hoboken/New York in the afternoon/evening).
- Include changes to station stops for certain M&E trains.
- Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines schedules effective Monday, January 8, feature service that will make service adjustments to accommodate increased Amtrak track maintenance at PSNY. Customers should check their timetables for adjustments.
