Effective November 2017, NJ TRANSIT will issue new bus timetables on several bus routes. Please review the new schedules HERE or pick up a printed timetable aboard buses and at major terminals.
Please note the following service changes:
Effective November 20: No. 119 will operate on a new weekday schedule with enhanced peak service.
Effective Wednesday, November 22 (day before Thanksgiving), Friday, December 22 and Friday December 29 (Fridays before Christmas and New Years'): Most PABT lines and New Jersey Waterfront lines will operate on a modified weekday schedule to include some minor AM and PM peak reductions with added PM early departure service. Most local lines will operate a regular weekday schedule.
Effective Thursday, November 23 (Thanksgiving Day): Most lines will operate on either a Sunday or Saturday schedule.
Effective Friday, November 24 (day after Thanksgiving): Most lines will operate on either a weekday or holiday schedule.
The following timetables have been updated for additional service between Thanksgiving and Christmas: 85, 123, 162/163/164, 704, 709, 712, 746/748. Extra service will also operate on Saturdays and Sundays on the 191, 192, 195 and 198 lines.
The following timetables have been updated for changes to the Holiday Service Guide, stick maps or other information: 22, 83, 84, 86, 88, 122/190, 124/129/329, 125, 128, 144/145/148/164, 151/161, 155/168, 157/167/177, 160, 165, 166, 171, 175, 191/195, 192/199, 193/194/197/198/324,194,196/197/198, 702, 705, 709, 744, 751/755, 752, 753, 756, 758, 762, 770 and 780.
Effective Monday, December 25 (Christmas Day): Most lines will operate on a Sunday schedule.
Effective Sunday, December 31 (New Years' Eve): Most lines will operate on a Sunday schedule with select routes operating extra trips in the later AM and evenings to New York with extra trips from New York after midnight.
Effective Monday, January 1 (New Years' Day): Most lines will operate on either a Saturday or Sunday schedule.
