Princeton Shuttle (Dinky): Weekend Substitute Bus Service between Princeton & Princeton Junction to Accommodate New Princeton Station Construction - August 24-25, 2013
August 08, 2013

View schedule HERE.

On Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, buses will replace the rail shuttle service between Princeton and Princeton Junction Station due to construction of the new Princeton Station.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT buses will provide alternate service for customers.  Buses will depart from locations near the rail platform at both Princeton Junction and Princeton stations.

Princeton Junction-bound buses will depart Princeton Station up to 30 minutes EARLIER than regularly scheduled shuttle train times. Bus trips are scheduled for approximately 25 minutes with 7-10 minutes allowed for connections between buses and trains at Princeton Junction.

The added time minimizes the possibility of missed connections at Princeton Junction.  However, traffic or other road conditions could affect our effort to maintain connections.  Please allow additional travel time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As of the end of service on Friday, August 23, the existing Princeton Rail Station will be permanently closed. Shuttle buses will continue to use existing bus stop near this station during the weekend of August 24-25. Beginning Monday, August 26, a new, temporary Princeton Rail Station will open approximately 1200 feet east of the current location.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
