MetLife Stadium: Major Event on at MetLife Stadium - Wednesday, August 1, 2012 (Rain date: August 2)
Due to a major event at MetLife Stadium on Wednesday, August 1 (rain date: Thursday, August 2), NJ TRANSIT suggests several travel options for attendees traveling to/from the Meadowlands. NJ TRANSIT bus lines do not directly serve the Meadowlands Sports Complex.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION
From northern New Jersey: Limited parking is available at Ramsey Route 17 Station, located off of Route 17 at Spring Street in Ramsey. From Ramsey Route 17 Station, board a Main/Bergen County Line train toward Hoboken Terminal and transfer at Secaucus Junction for trains to MetLife Stadium.
From central/southern New Jersey: Limited parking is available at Metropark Station, located in the Iselin section of Woodbridge at 100 Middlesex Turnpike. From Metropark Station, board a NJ TRANSIT Northeast Corridor train toward New York and transfer at Secaucus Junction for trains to MetLife Stadium.
From Brooklyn: Take the NYC Subway to the World Trade Center Station, then transfer to PATH service to Hoboken Terminal. From Hoboken Terminal, board a NJ TRANSIT Meadowlands Rail Line train for direct service to MetLife Stadium. See rail schedule here.
From Lower Manhattan: From the World Trade Center Station, take PATH service to Hoboken Terminal, then transfer to a NJ TRANSIT Meadowlands Rail Line train for direct service to MetLife Stadium.

From MidtownManhattan: From New York Penn Station, board any NJ TRANSIT Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line or Midtown Direct train that stops at Secaucus Junction (noted by an “SEC” on station monitors) and transfer at Secaucus Junction for trains to MetLife Stadium. Or, take PATH service (from 33rd St., 23rd St. 14th St., 9th St. or Christopher St.) to Hoboken Terminal, where direct service to MetLife stadium is available via NJ TRANSIT’s Meadowlands Rail Line. PURCHASING TICKETS
Round trip tickets must be purchased: Customers traveling on NJ TRANSIT trains to the Meadowlands should purchase their round trip tickets from their originating station TO THE MEADOWLANDS to avoid delays boarding trains.
Tickets can be purchased at ticket windows or Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs). Please note that the TVM will print TWO TICKETS (EACH WAY). Allow time for both tickets to print before leaving the machine. Each ticket will open the fare gate at Secaucus one time.
If your return trip is to a different destination than your origin station, present your ticket to the train conductor to purchase an “extension of journey” fare.
Last train from the Meadowlands will depart no earlier then 12:40 AM.
