Bay Street Station: Inbound (Eastbound) Elevator Temporarily Out of Service for Upgrades and Modernization - Effective Immediately
Beginning Monday, October 15 and continuing through Friday, November 30, the inbound (eastbound) elevator at Bay Street Station will be closed temporarily for equipment upgrades and modernization.
During this outage, customers requiring accessible service may consider the following travel options:
- Use elevator adjacent to the parking deck
- Use Ramp from inbound platform
- Traveling FROM Bay Street Station to points east (e.g. Newark/New York): Board an outbound train from Bay Street and transfer to an inbound train at Montclair Heights Station to your destination.
- Traveling TO Bay Street Station from points west (e.g. Denville/Dover): Remain on the train to Newark Broad Street Station, and then transfer to an outbound train to Bay Street.
