South Orange Station: Outbound (Westbound) Elevator Closed Temporarily for Modernization & Upgrades - Beginning Tuesday, September 25, 2018
Beginning on or about Tuesday, September 25 and continuing through Monday, October 22, the outbound (westbound) elevator at South Orange Station will be temporarily closed for modernization and upgrades.
During this time, customers requiring accessible services may consider the following travel options:
- Traveling TO South Orange Station from points east (e.g. Newark/New York): Remain on the train to Summit and then transfer to an inbound train to South Orange.
- DEPARTING South Orange Station to points west (e.g. Summit/ Gladstone): Board an inbound train in South Orange for Newark Broad Street Station, and then transfer to an outbound train to your destination.
- NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 92 and No. 107 provide daily service from South Orange Station (Sloan and 2nd streets).
