Madison Station: Elevators Temporarily Out of Service for Repairs - Monday, August 14 to Tuesday, August 15, 2017

 

Beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 15, the westbound and eastbound elevators at Madison Station will be out of service for repairs as follows:

Monday, August 14

  • Westbound elevator will be out of service beginning at 10 a.m. and will return to service the same day.

During this time, customers requiring accessible service should consider the following travel options:

Rail Options:
Traveling TO Madison Station from points east: (e.g. Newark/New York): Remain on the train to Morristown and then transfer to an inbound train to Madison.

Traveling FROM Madison Station to points west: (e.g. Hackettstown): Take an inbound train to Summit and then transfer to an outbound train to your destination.

Tuesday, August 15

  • Eastbound elevator will be out of service beginning at 10 a.m., and will return to service the same day.

During this time, customers requiring accessible service should consider the following travel options:

Rail Options:
Traveling TO Madison Station from points west: (e.g. Hackettstown):  Remain on the train to Summit and then transfer to an outbound train to Madison.

Traveling FROM Madison Station to points east: (e.g. Newark/New York): Take an outbound train to Morristown and then transfer to an inbound train to your destination.

During this time, customers requiring elevator service may wish to travel from Summit or Morristown stations.
