Princeton Junction Station: Temporary Parking Lot Restrictions due to Construction - July 12 through July 27, 2017

Beginning Wednesday, July 12 and continuing through Thursday, July 27, the West Windsor Parking Authority (WWPA) will be performing construction work in the Alexander Parking Lot at NJ TRANSIT’s Princeton Junction Station. During this time, there will be minor restrictions to the parking and access lane.

Please note the following construction schedule below*

Storm sewer reconstruction and curb repairs
  • Normal access to parking

July 19 - 22

Milling and overlay work
  • Parking space restrictions
  • Middle section of parking lot will be shut down from 8 p.m. July 19 to 8 p.m. July 22.

July 20 - 21

Milling of front portion of parking lot

Repaving and striping in front of Alexander Lot

  • Approximately 350 spaces will be restricted.
  • 250 spaces will be available at WWPA’s Vaughn Lot parking at no charge to permit holders.
  • Taxi queue location will be relocated to Station Drive.
  • Bus activity will be diverted to Wallace Circle.
July 26 - 29 Milling and overlay work
  • From 8 p.m. July 26 to midnight July 29:
    • Parking space restrictions
    • Side Access Road to Alexander Lot will be closed
July 27 - 28 Milling, curb and surface repairs
  • Minor diversion around work area
  • No loss of parking spaces
July 29 Signage removal, cleanup  and other maintenance
  • Minor diversion around work area
  • No loss of parking spaces
