Metropark Station: Eastbound Platform Elevator Temporarily Out of Service - Effective Immediately
The elevator serving the inbound (eastbound) platform elevator at Metropark Station is currently out of service. NJ TRANSIT personnel have responded to the outage and are awaiting parts before making repairs.
The elevator is scheduled to return to service on or about Thursday, May 25.
During this outage, customers may use the elevators in the East and West parking decks to travel between street level and the eastbound platform.
Customers requiring elevator service also can travel from Metuchen (where only ramps are available), Edison stations.
