Princeton Station: Temporary Station Opens Monday, August 26, 2013 as Existing Princeton Station Closes Permanently
Effective Monday, August 26, a new, temporary Princeton Station will open approximately 1200 feet east of the current location.
At the end of service on Friday, August 23, the existing Princeton Station will be permanently closed. Shuttle buses will continue to use the existing bus stops on University Place near this station during the weekend of August 24-25.
Customers should follow signs to reach the new station, which is accessible to persons with disabilities. The temporary station includes a waiting room, Ticket Vending Machines, platform shelter and an expanded commuter parking lot.
The commuter parking lot is accessible from Alexander Street about midway between Faculty Road and University Place intersections.
Additionally, effective Monday, August 26, stops for NJ TRANSIT's Bus Route Nos. 605 and 655 buses will be relocated to new, temporary stops located adjacent to the expanded commuter parking lot on Alexander Street, directly opposite the new (temporary) station.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
