The Homepage Trip Planner will find the fastest trips within a one mile walking distance of your origin and destination.

To begin, enter your starting address or boarding location (e.g. station or park & ride name). If you start typing a station name or park & ride location, the Trip Planner will suggest locations. You can select these by pressing Enter or Tab. You can also enter any street address or intersection. Be sure to include your city and state. Commas are acceptable, but are not required.

If you prefer to use a particular travel mode (e.g. "rail only," "bus only," etc.), simply select the appropriate button.

You can adjust the date and time to plan a future trip, if desired.

To plan an ADA-accessible trip, check the box next to the word "Accessible."

To plan a trip using other settings, including shorter walking distances and fewer transfers, please use our Advanced Trip Planner by clicking "Advanced."

Berkeley Heights Station: Buses Replace Trains for Certain Gladstone Trips - Special schedule in effect for Far Hills Steeplechase - Saturday, October 20, 2012

NJ TRANSIT will operate special service Saturday, October 20, for customers traveling to the annual Steeplechase event at Far Hills. Please review the information below, as regular service will be adjusted and buses will replace trains for some trips.

The following trains will not operate from Berkeley Heights Station to Summit Station on Saturday, October 20:

Berkeley Heights departures at 9:24 a.m., 10:24 a.m.,11:24 a.m., 12:24 p.m., 1:24 p.m., and 9:24 p.m.

Buses will replace these trains and will depart at the following times:

9:12 a.m., 10:12 a.m., 11:12 a.m., 12:12 p.m., 1:12 p.m., and 9:12 p.m. Please note that buses depart the station earlier than the train.

Buses will also replace evening westbound trains from Summit to Gladstone. The following trains will not operate (departing Summit):

4:14 p.m., 5:14 p.m., 6:14 p.m., 7:14 p.m., and 8:14 p.m.
